The 200 series is a Shinkansen train that was introduced in 1982 when the Tohoku Shinkansen Line opened, and was designed to be more resistant to cold and snow in order to cope with the natural environment of Tohoku.
The 12-car F train, which includes a buffet car, is mainly made up of 1000 series cars that can travel at speeds of up to 240 km/h, and many of the leading cars are 1500 series cars that have a higher seating capacity than the 0 and 1000 series.
