The E5 series was introduced as 'Hayabusa' on March 5, 2011, and became the center of attention with the introduction of the 'Gran Class' which offers a higher level of seating than the Green Car. On March 16, 2013, it began to be coupled with the E6 series, and when operating alone, it can reach a maximum speed of 320km/h, making it the fastest in the world along with the TGV.
