Tobu 500 series 'Liberty' is a limited express train that was introduced in 2017, and 11 three-car trains are in operation.
Unlike the conventional 100 series 'Spacia,' this series is composed of three cars, and is also designed to be split and merged, giving it greater flexibility in operation.
The front of the leading car has a structure that allows it to be penetrated when two trains are joined to form a six-car train.
Currently, it is used on all lines, including the 'Liberty Kegon' and 'Liberty Kinu' on the Nikko Line, the 'Liberty Aizu' on the Yagan Railway and Aizu Railway, the 'Liberty Ryomo' on the Isesaki Line, the 'Urban Park Liner' on the Noda Line, and the night train 'Oze Night Train.'
