The Kiha 261-1000 series is a diesel express train that was introduced in 2006, and has since been added to the fleet and is now JR Hokkaido's main express train.
The Kiha 260-1300 series is an intermediate car that can be incorporated into a train set individually, allowing the number of cars in a train to be tailored to suit demand.
Features
- A single Kiha 260-1300 type unit equipped with a motor that can accommodate the addition of a motor car depending on the conditions of the line on which it is run
- Reproduced with a new paint scheme featuring white and purple stripes around the doors
- The engine and other equipment are reproduced in detail under the floor
- Some markings are printed
- Side indicator lights are attached with clear parts
- Car numbers are selectable and compatible with transfer sheets (transfer sheets are included with HO-9112)
- Side indicator parts are selectable and compatible with stickers (stickers are included with HO-9112)
- Closely coupled TN couplers are standard equipment
- Can pass through a minimum radius of R490 (excluding S-shaped lines)
